About This Project

Project Gaon Udaan is a rural skill-building and livelihood empowerment initiative by Vaishvik Welfare Foundation, India’s first integrated welfare movement for humans, animals, and nature. The project aims to equip 300+ rural youth and women with high-demand vocational skills, link them to sustainable employment or self-employment opportunities, and promote community-led economic resilience. Unlike conventional vocational programs, Gaon Udaan integrates skills training, job placement, entrepreneurship support, and digital literacy within a framework of environmental responsibility and community ownership. Total Project Budget: ₹3,00,000 for the initial 6–9 month phase Effective Cost per Beneficiary: ₹1,000
